Please be aware that neither of our historic homes has modern heat or air conditioning! It may be warm when you take your tour, so dress for your comfort and wellness.

History
Visit the 1700’s Moorhead Cabin, the 2-room replica Slave Cabin (birthplace of Jane Edna Hunter, nationally recognized African-American activist and reformer), and the replica Victorian Carriage House while touring the ground of Woodburn
You can also hike our Nature Trail for even more insight on the property’s history!
Events at Woodburn
Interested in hosting an event at Woodburn? The house has a very wide first-floor wrap-around piazza, well suited for small events with less than 100 guests. Events up to 400 guests are best suited for our grounds and pavilion spaces. We also have a large lawn and ample space for seating and mingling in front of our Victorian carriage house.
